This program was designed with the intention of being done with one single Bulgarian Bag. That being said, if you have the budget for additional weights, that is always helpful.
In general, here are some suggestions:
Females > 120lbs: 13lb or 17lb Bag
Females < 120lbs: 11 or 13lb Bag
Males >200lbs: 26lb or 37lb Bag
Males 170-199lbs: 22lb or 26lb Bag
Males < 170lbs: 17lb or 22lb Bag
Yes, this program is appropriate for beginners and intermediate fitness enthusiasts. As you move through the program, there are numerous progressions and regressions so that you can modify your training to meet your current level. Also, while it is a 30-day program, you can always move slower through it, so that you move even more at your own pace.
The program follows a ~3x/week plan. However, there is an optional 4th day if you'd like. Additionally, on off days, there are suggestions for recovery, such as stretching, working-in, or mini mobility sessions.
Yes, it is a standalone program. However, if you are doing it alongside other programs, it would be wise to reduce the number of workouts you do each week, or reduce the training volume (sets and reps) in each workout. I would suggest prioritizing your main sport/activity goal, and having the Bulgarian Bag support that.

Before, I would kill myself at the gym for 2 to 3 hours and feel quite sore and fatigued...Now, I feel energized after a workout and my energy level stays constant. Also, my body doesn't feel sore the following day.
